Shadow box artwork of a partially installed perfume logo CHANEL. Workers prepare to mount the missing letters while a woman in black outfit and hat stands on a gold platform.

This piece grew out of my fascination with the illusions of luxury. What we call refinement or exclusivity often rests on nothing more than construction — carefully arranged letters, polished symbols, and stories designed to make us believe in superiority. Strip away the glamour, and what remains may be far less noble than the image suggests.

The unfinished word becomes both a slip and a revelation: beneath the elegance lies absurdity, a reminder that prestige can be as fragile and hollow as a label. The poised figure above embodies the performance of class, yet the foundation of that performance is already cracking.

For me, this work is a satire of luxury as spectacle — a way of questioning how much of superiority is real, and how much is simply an illusion we choose to accept.

One of a kind original artwork.
